Programs & Services

Low Income Ministry of Dodge County offers a wide range of programs and services to meet the needs of those coming to us for assistance. We help them and their families by providing programs, information and resources to assist in their journey.  Low Income Ministry serves all of Dodge County as well as a 15-mile radius outside of Fremont.

Food Pantry – Our Food Pantry takes place every Tuesday from 10am-2pm and Thursday from 5-7pm. The Food Pantry can also be accessed outside normal pantry hours by bringing a voucher into the office during regular office hours. Foods are reflective of the USDA "My Plate" guidelines.

Case Management – Appointments can be made with our case manager to receive assistance connecting to community resources.

Basic Needs Assistance – Appointments can be made with our case manager to determine eligibility for a one time per year financial assistance.

Community Response – A system which connects families with community supports to find solutions to issues and strengthen relationships within the community. It also assists families in identifying goals and priorities.

Central Navigation – A nonprofit hub that will complete assessments, evaluate need, work to develop a plan to meet needs and connect to any additional services and supports.

Budgeting Assistance – Appointments can be made with our case manager to receive assistance with budgeting.

Benefits Assistance – Appointments can be made with our case manager to receive assistance with navigating the DHHS system and applying for DHHS benefits.

Employability Assistance – Appointments can be made with our case manager to receive assistance with finding employment.

Clothing, Housewares & Hygiene Items – The store is open to all people to come in and shop for clothing, housewares and hygiene products at a discount price. We also have a voucher program that households can utilize once every thirty days if they are in need of clothing, housewares or hygiene items and cannot pay.

School Supplies – Provide school supplies and back packs to students in need.

Box Fans – Provide box fans to those in need that do not have air conditioning.
